Jungle Therapy

CONTACT AN ADVISOR

The jungle is an incredible world of medicinal plants and spirits and the wisdom behind it is immense. Healing with plants has been a fundamental part of our journey and we are very open to sharing what we have learned from our vision. Our intention is to help the person reconnect with himself and to do this it is very important to relax the nervous system, often altered due to the times we live. We also feel important to bring interested people into this world and guide them to discover it.

Sacharuna adventure loves the world of the jungle in its entirety, so for years we have been working with the medicines offered by this beautiful environment.

The most famous medicine of the jungle is Ayahuasca, or banisteriopsis caapi, a vine used since ancient times to heal and work on oneself. Many people know Ayahuasca but few know that there are several ways to take it.

Here we present the two forms we work with:

Shamanic Ayahuasca: this is a proper ceremony, which takes place at night in a circular room called a maloka. It is usually served by a curandero, that is, a shaman from the jungle. The curandero serves the medicine and, after an hour or so, begins to chant. There may be physical symptoms such as cold, heat, vomiting, diarrhea. Emotional symptoms such as release of emotions and you may have visions and insights. We are all different and it is absolutely impossible to predict how the ceremony will go. If you choose this option Sacharuna Adventure will take you to a wise and trusted healer that we have worked with for years and will help you with the translation and support part.

The plant world is a world that can be ambiguous and gaining experience with a trusted person is important. Also, having a support person with a similar cultural background is very important.

Another possible option with the healer is a concentrated plant diet. The diet consists of taking a concentrated plant 2 or 3 times a day, eating without salt, using as little electronics as possible, and living at the healer's center. Also included in the diet are 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies. The plant will enter little by little and will do a deep work eliminating emotional and mental blockages. After the diet it is absolutely necessary to follow strict rules in diet and lifestyle (nothing, drugs, sex, alcohol, pork, cow, chili, acidic foods) for one month. We at Sacharuna Adventure have gone through many of these processes, here our service will consist of translation and availability in support of the diet and we will be present at the Ayahuasca ceremonies to help.

Ayahuasca to cleanse the physical and energetic bodies: in the course of life we go through many different situations, sometimes very difficult, not to mention that often our diet and lifestyle are not exactly appropriate for our body and mind. That is why we believe that this way of making Ayahuasca is so important. With this method, one can do Ayahusac at any time of the day. One takes the medicine, waits half an hour and then starts drinking warm water. The symptoms one may experience will be vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, crying, laughing, visions and perceptions.

The focus of this ayahuasca is not so much visionary as cleansing, and water plays a fundamental role, because just as water is necessary to wash dishes or clothes, it is also necessary to clean our physical and energetic body. We believe that this methodology is extremely useful, because putting ourselves in the washing machine and sending away all the unnecessary waste from time to time will help us feel more centered, more relaxed, more serene.... we assure you! For those interested in going a little deeper, it is possible to take a concentrated plant once a day, this will help the cleansing process even more.
