Route Plan
Day 1: Indigenous Artisans
- Learn to make Ecological natural paper, one hour demonstration.
- Traditional and regional foods RBM.
- Make a basic pottery bowl with indigenous artisans, spend time with these amazing women learning about their ancient craft.
- Chazuta funerary urns, during recent excavations 25 funerary urns were found along with 65 other finds.
- Overnight stay at las Flores lodging.
Day 2: Cocoa production
- Breakfast.
- Cacao fields of ‘Rio Bosque Magico’ Heribertos family farm.
- One hour walk: learn about agroforestry and harvest cocoa.
- Lunch amazing food grown in the gardens of RBM.
- Learn about the different stages in the production of cocoa and participate in the work process, how to ferment and dry the cocoa beans ready to make chocolate.
- Dinner with organic products from their own farm.
- Artisan chocolate course.
- Return trip to Tarapoto.
